Katey and I spent a beautiful Christmas period. For me, it was a busy time cooking and making fun new meals. Our home looks great, and we're looking forward to having some friends over for a "New Year's Party in the New Year" party on January 8th, 2011.

At midnight, Katey was so kind as to join me to attend midnight mass as our local Catholic Church. Mass was long! And Katey was such a trooper!!

Charlie came over around 11am on Christmas day. There were presents abound.

Katey especially liked the presents she bought for Charlie - all the games. We spent the morning making Shrinky Dinks! [photo to come, for now, just look at our Christmas photo album].

My favorite gift was from Katey, a chef's jacket. Charlie gave me a photo of himself; and I gave Katey a framed photo I took of her that was blown up to a 16" x 20", and beautifully framed.

I'm writing this blog entry from 27,000' in the air on our flight to Chicago, on our way to New Orleans.
